Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department in all accounting functions and related operations.
The position will assist in budgeting, grants management, cash management, and other reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to.
Assist with General Ledger Closing procedures (data input, reconciliations, etc.
).
Accurately and Timely Process Accounts Payable.
Perform the Fixed Asset Accounting functions.
Process Patient Refunds.
Assist with Cash Management Function of recording Daily Cash Activity, Maintaining Cash Balances and performing the Federal Cash Draws.
Assist with Bank Reconciliations as needed.
Assist with calculation of Incentive Plans as needed.
Perform Quarterly Cash Audits at the various Sites.
Assist with preparations of GAAP and Grant Yearly Budgets.
Assist as needed with preparation of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports at FYE.
Assist as needed with preparation of UDS Report to be completed every February.
Assist with Routine Financial and Accounting Related Communications through E-mail and Memos to other departments.
Prepare Monthly Billings to Other Agencies as necessary.
Assist with Year-End Physical Inventories as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma with 4 years accounting experience required or Accounting Degree with two years of accounting experience required.
Excel Experience Required.
Word Experience Required.
