*Teacher responsibilities* at Prestige Montessori Method Academy include:
* Creating lesson plans and curricula focused on developing social, physical, intellectual, and emotional skills.
* Ensuring classroom supplies and materials are available and in working condition.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing up reports.
* Assessing children’s individual needs, and communicating with parents as required.
* Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel *safe *and *valued*.
* Creating a nurturing classroom where every child feels *included*.
* Establishing rapport and building relationships with students based on *trust*.
* Making all children feel *comfortable* and *at ease* while motivating them and exploring their ideas and imagination
* Observing, supervising, and assessing children while they *learn* in the classroom environment.
* Guiding students in a *stimulating* classroom environment.
* Setting an excellent example for students and instilling good values in them like *honesty, accountability, understanding, tolerance, respect, love, and kindness*.
*Teacher Requirements:*
* PATIENCE
* Experience in early childhood care, education, or a related discipline.
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of our program and passion for alternative education
* Willingness to pursue additional courses or training in education.
* Ability to multitask and keep learning environment tidy and organized.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* An ability to teach groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities.
* Excellent observational and diagnostic skills.
* The ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect.
* A lifelong learner who can be a good role model for children.
