Palmetto Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to lead our 4-Year-Old Preschool Program.
As the Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:
* Educating: Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing a creative and comprehensive curriculum tailored to the unique needs and interests of 4-year-old children.
The curriculum will focus on fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
* Classroom Environment: Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom that encourages exploration, curiosity, and creativity.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
* Individualized Support: Provide individualized attention to each child, assessing their progress, and ensuring they are well-prepared for school.
Create an environment that promotes a sense of belonging and self-esteem.
* Parent Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any questions or concerns.

* Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including training, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or 6 months experience in a Pre-K program required.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
