We are seeking a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our team!
*Responsibilities:*
* Communicating with tow truck operators to provide instructions on location of vehicles and other pertinent information
* Organizing the dispatch schedule to ensure that all tow trucks are staffed with qualified drivers on time
* Answer all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, using proper telephone etiquette
* Schedule appointments for service requests, utilizing company software
* Dispatch service vehicles to customer locations in an efficient and timely manner
* Maintain updated knowledge of roadways, traffic conditions, and construction projects that may impact service times
* Keep customers updated on estimated arrival times of service vehicles
* Monitor service vehicles via GPS tracking system to ensure they remain on schedule
* Notify customers of any changes in estimated arrival time
* Resolve customer complaints in a prompt and satisfactory manner
* Record all pertinent information from each call into company software
* Generate daily reports detailing dispatched services
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
* Positive and professional demeanor
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
* Strong computer skills
* Flexible schedule and availability
