How Will You Shine?
As a valued and successful Housekeeping Supervisor you will be required to:
Inspects guestrooms and public areas to ensure that they meet standards of cleanliness
Report room status to Front Desk
Communicate needs or errors to Housekeeping staff
Follow through on guest complaints and requests regarding room services and ensure the appropriate follow-up with guests
Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy
Assist in coaching and training new employees
Oversee all room attendants in your section
Performs other related duties as assigned
Communicate with the PM shift housekeepers of rooms to be cleaned and special requests
Maintain work area neat and organized
Report all unsafe conditions immediately
Inspect guest rooms for maintenance repairs
Attend all mandatory meetings
Check housekeeping carts for proper supplies
Complete all other duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping to include cross training
Follow-up on special needs or tasks in the department
Helps Housekeeping team members when needed
Assist in setting up and cleaning Homeowner arrivals
Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
Report maintenance issues
Report rooms that are still occupied after 11am
Handles missing /found articles, damage, or merchandise problems
Discuss any issues that have not been address to the oncoming shift
Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Resort’s Dress Code Policy
Must be able to work independently and as a team player
