```Duties``
-Experienced in FCA/Stellantis parts ordering and stocking brings starting pay higher
-Experienced with Automate DMS a plus
- Manage and oversee the parts department operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and supplier management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts availability and minimize stockouts.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, including tracking usage, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Utilize order management systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track parts orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to parts inventory, such as turnover rate and fill rate.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the parts department.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized parts warehouse.
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive service or parts management is a plus.
- Proven experience in automotive repair or related industry, with a strong understanding of automotive parts and components.
- Proficiency in using order management systems and CMMS software.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and practices for efficient parts distribution.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory control and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and record keeping.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supplier management is preferred.
