Overview: $500 Retention Bonus after 3 Months in the Position, and a 2nd $500 Retention Bonus after 6 Months.
GPM Investments, one of the largest owners of convenience stores in the country, has entered into a partnership with the New York style pizza company, Sbarro.
GPM has been opening up Sbarro food services in our convenience stores since the start of 2022, with over a dozen locations open so far, we plan to open up plenty more over the next few years! The timing couldn't be better to join this growing franchise arm of GPM! -Responsible for assisting the General Manager in achieving restaurant objectives.
Assists the General Manager in assigning, directing and following up on activities of restaurant employees including managers and team members.
Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, federal, state and local laws and Company business standards.
This position must be able to work and communicate effectively with the restaurant management team and the team members in order to drive sales and profits.

Payrate: $15/HR Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibility Under the direction of the General Manager, provides direct supervision to others.
Provides functional guidance to team members including delegating assignments, instruction and follow up.
Carries out opening and closing procedures.

Trains, monitors and reinforces food safety procedures to subordinate managers and team members.
Ensures all Company food safety procedures are followed.
Ensures that all health, safety and sanitation requirements are met in accordance with federal, state and local standards; 2.
Maintains safe working conditions by following and enforcing all Company safety, security and maintenance policies and procedures.
3.
Assists in hiring, developing, evaluating, coaching and counseling Managers and Team Members in accordance with Company Human Resources policies and procedures.
Monitors tasks performed to ensure achievement of Company goals and objectives.
4.
Assists with entire store operations including, but not limited to, systems usage, recipe adherence, payroll and timekeeping procedures, and guest interactions.
Takes corrective action as necessary.
5.
Assists with profit and loss management through cash control / security policies and procedures, maintaining inventory, food cost, managing labor and reviewing financial reports.
Takes corrective action as necessary.
6.
Assists with inventory and orders / purchases food and supplies while applying appropriate cost control measures.
7.
Assists in generating Manager and Team Member schedules ensuring coverage appropriate to drive sales and profits.
8.
Engages in local restaurant marketing (LSM) efforts.
9.
Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.
Qualifications: 18 years of age or older for AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO/ 21 years of age for all other states Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication) Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check Benefits: For information on benefits offered, please click on the hyperlink below.
