Duties include but are not limited to:
Carry out assignments from Manager & Maintenance Supervisor
Act as Maintenance Supervisor in their absence
Hire and train maintenance staff
Assist in preparation of maintenance records, other reports, and work requests
Directly supervise staff assigned
Provide Maintenance Supervisor with feedback from personnel
Instruct assigned personnel on how to improve work skills
Assist in care and maintenance of all resort facilities both indoors and outdoors, the upkeep of the grounds, and equipment.
Assist in monitoring staff to ensure safety, proper use of equipment, and completion of duties
Assist in planning and completion of improvement projects; may include solicit quotes, review plans, schedule contractors/maintenance staff, and inspect results.
Directly responsible for care and maintenance of all pool areas
Account for all maintenance equipment, supplies and materials.
Purchase materials/supplies for park projects as directed
Maintain on call status 24 hours per day 7 days a week
Respond immediately in the event of an emergency (such as fire, flood, electrical failure, etc.
)
Desired qualifications include:
Supervisory experience
General plumbing, electrical, mechanical, skills
Experience working in a camping environment
Must have good written and oral communication skills
Must have high attention to detail, be observant, and organized
Must have neat appearance
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work anytime and be on call
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
