*POSITION TITLE:* Night Manager
*REPORTS TO:* Director of Operations
Oversee operations of the resort as the 2nd shift MOD - 3PM to 11PM.
Full time position, hourly wage.
*Essential Job Functions*
* Manage the operations of the resort during PM hours – To include areas of Food & Beverage outlets, Front Desk and Banquet Events to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality are provided to our resort guests.
* Coordinate and check in with all department heads or managers when necessary to ensure optimal functioning of the hotel.
* Resolve customer complaints, and anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring operational issues, business flow and associate performance.
* Monitor and maintain the front office systems and equipment to ensure optimum performance.
* Be aware of emergency procedures and take full responsibility in emergency situations.
* Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
* Able to fill in throughout the resort for any department needing staffing in hourly or managerial role including Front Desk, Bartending & Serving
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
· Meeting with the executive level managers on a regular basis to discuss business operations and opportunities for improvement
· Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive & serve the guests
· Any other duties assigned
*Position Requirements*
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* 3 years of previous management or supervisory experience in Food & Beverage or Front Office areas with demonstrated knowledge of overall hotel operations.
*Work Environment and Context*
* Work schedule varies and will include working nights, holidays and weekends.
* Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, serving, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
