1968 Super Reverb S/N A 31825 $1600 OBO Here we have an all-original 1968 Fender Super Reverb combo and everything works as it should.
This fabuolus amp was maintained its entire life and sounds phenomenal with a glassy aura that makes this a true hallmark Fender design.
Although some early silverface finished units still had blackface circuitry, the AB763 circuit is a sweet spot in the spectrum of silver face/blackface era amps – 40W through 4×10’s, 2-channels with tremolo and reverb in a sort of manageable enclosure is just about all anyone needs.
The dynamic, glassy cleans that it generates are truly remarkable and would be a powerful studio or professional performance tool.
She’s sporting her original matching foursome of Fender 10″s Blue label speakers and still has its original transformers & tilt legs.
The tolex is showing the wear of a 55 yr.
amplifier, but still looks real good.
This amplifier was owned by Renowned Country Guitarist Howard Gerald.
Howard toured with Ferlin Husky and Little Jimmy Dickens in the fifties and the sixties and played the Grand Ole Opry many times.
