Available March 1st This posting is for one bedroom in a shared 2/1 apartment at Canterbury Apartments in Carolina Forest.
The apartment is the "Urban Nottingham" style (https://www.

com/floorplans).
Costs: rent is $1524 split down the middle (so $762 each).
Utilities with Santee Cooper are usually around $50 depending on usage, also split.
Depending on when you move in we can negotiate first month's rent.
Bedroom: this posting is for the smaller of the two bedrooms in the 'Urban Nottingham" (https://www.
canterbury-apartments.
com/floorplans) style apartments at Canterbury.
as I will be moving out of the country, the bedroom is available furnished (+$200 to essentially buy the bed, nightstand, etc) or unfurnished.
Lease: Single lease, one-year.
The new tenant will be added to the existing lease (which includes myself and the current roomate).
This is because it is a one-year lease that runs from August 2023 to August 2024.
Canterbury (and it's parent group Sterling) will require a lease application fee ($65) and run a credit check.
Once everything is set, I will leave the lease and the current roomate and the new tenant will take over and have the option to renew in August 2024.
Roomate: we are both CCU faculty.
I am leaving the country (and I will not return) and the current roomate is faculty in the department of languages and intercultural studies (26, F).
She will handle things once I leave the apartment, but we hope to find my replacement asap.
