*Job Purpose:* The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for various tasks in the marketing department in order to assist in the execution of the marketing plan.
The primary purpose is to assist with the marketing activities including but not limited to advertising, direct mailing, printing, member and community events.
In addition, this position will assist with the collection and dissemination of industry and competitor market research and other general marketing.
As well as assist with the coordination and implementation of marketing programs to support the Credit Union’s brand.
*Responsibilities:* - Assist VP Marketing in developing, coordinating, analyzing, and tracking marketing promotions.
- Maintain a strong rapport with media representatives and print and mail vendors.
- Solicit bids for needed services, layout imprint, proof, order, and manage inventory of promotional items.
- Coordinate print jobs and schedule ad placement as requested.
- Assist VP Marketing with design and development of printed materials and digital ads to advertise new and existing products/services and/or special promotions.
- Assist with website content management.
- Edit mailing databases and coordinate multiple monthly mailings to members.
- Member email corrections in Symitar following email blasts.
- Assist in coordinating community and company events, which may require after-hours work.
Coordinate and pack promotional items for events, by request.
- Order and track fundraising sales, invoices, and disbursement of funds.
Promote fundraising efforts to members while encouraging staff participation.
- Process checks and distribute decline letters for donation requests.
- Assist with the preparation of annual Marketing plans.
- Coordinate social responsibility initiatives and award entries.
- Maintain copies of all Marketing ads, articles, etc.
for NCUA examiner review.
- Keep VP Marketing informed of all matters pertaining to Marketing.
*Knowledge & Skills:* - Understanding of sales and promotion techniques and digital marketing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Solid writing skills.
*Education:* Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent experience in a hands-on marketing/advertising environment.

00 - $51,000.
