We create memorable experiences throughout the Southeast with three of our restaurants located in the Myrtle Beach metro area.
We are seeking an Event + Promotions Coordinator to help create ‘boots on the ground’ traction in the community all while engaging in and promoting internal events as well as area-wide, brand applicable events.
Events include but not limited to: restaurant events (karaoke, live music, parties), trade shows, local networking groups, live music / concerts, food festivals, restaurant weeks, community events, et.
al.
Promotion duties include but not limited to: flyer distribution, cold calling, event attendance / networking events, local news segment features, engage local influencers, locate event ambassadors, encourage widespread sharing, create photo/video footage, merchandise distribution, et.
al.
Requirements & Job Description:

* A self-starter excited about events + meeting new people!
* Established connections within the the food + beverage and/or hospitality industry
* Establish, build and maintain positive relations with neighbors, managers, industry representatives, etc.
* Research local events, community happenings, et.
al.
* Must be able to work nights and weekends when applicable
* Must have dependable transportation
* Must be able to capture attractive event footage for social media purposes (iPhone or similar is sufficient)
* Calendar management + problem solving skills a must based in MB but helping and overseeing events for all stores
* Help with other marketing related tasks such as social media
* Organize events including staff, vendors, etc
* Brainstorm and initiate new events and promotional activities
* Engage sponsors and local organization to participate in events
