Job Description
Under the general direction of the Chief Development Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Director of Partnership Engagement is responsible for Corporate Partner Program for the YMCA of Coastal Carolina Association.
The Director of Partnership Engagement will develop and implement a full range of programming services, partnerships, and community outreach to achieve strategic goals and provide outstanding service to all members, program participants and partners along with coordinating all special events for the association.
Considerable travel throughout the YMCA of Coastal Carolina service area is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; membership, sales, marketing, or related field of study preferred.
Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in sales, program management and community relationship building.
Demonstrated success in building strong partnerships effectively among a wide variety of stakeholders to advance a common cause.
Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills.

Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members, or guests to your supervisor.
Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children
Reporting any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor.
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and assigned safety trainings within 30 days of hire date.
Essential Functions
Serve as collaborator with local businesses to build/maintain partnerships, sponsorships, promote membership, healthy living programs.
Understand the full suite of Y programs, promotions, and services to sell and introduce members to additional benefits of a Y membership.
Use Listen First skills to understand prospective member needs and communicate the benefits of a Y membership, making the Y accessible to people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
Focus on driving connection, engagement, and retention through specific goals for continued membership growth through meeting monthly sales goals and retention.
Develops and manages all corporate membership accounts.
Provides a menu of additional services available to corporate partners to increase engagement and revenue.
Meet with area businesses/community partners to discuss potential partnerships, sponsorships, memberships, healthy living programs, and volunteer opportunities.
Meet and exceed membership and sponsorship monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
Serve as the driving force for all sponsorships packages and ensuring fulfillment, and donor recognition.
Manage, coordinate, and secure sponsorships for all special events for the association.
All other duties as assigned.
