We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join our team, specializing in the commercial landscape industry.
This role is integral to maintaining and expanding our client relationships, particularly with developers, HOA boards, management companies, and facility/maintenance directors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the commercial landscape sector.
Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, focusing on developers, HOA boards, management companies, and facility directors.
Learn and understand client needs, especially in terms of maintenance services, and provide tailored solutions in contract sales.
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and branch management, to ensure client satisfaction and timely project completion.
Conduct site visits, networking events, and in-person/phone sales calls.
Oversee long-term projects, manage client relationships at both macro and personal levels, and engage in industry-related networking.
Develop new maintenance contract sales and forecast future sales opportunities.
Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling within the commercial landscape industry.
Experience and Skills:
· Proven experience in account management, preferably in the commercial landscape industry.
· Knowledge of landscape industry, and experience in project management.
· Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Industry-specific certifications (e.
g.
, Certified Landscape Technician) are a benefit but not required.
