Supports community outreach by developing, planning, coordinating, and implementation of community outreach opportunities and customer communication activities.
Promotes and increases awareness of Santee Cooper's brand through newsletters, bill inserts, photos, and presentations.
Essential Job Tasks: Assists in the planning, development, promotion, and implementation of educational/community outreach initiatives to promote the mission and goals of Santee Cooper.
Researches and understands objectives to assist manager in addressing needs of community organizations.
Communicates and corresponds with organizations approved for corporate outreach.
Works to promote to Santee Cooper's customers our programs, resources, community involvement and other relevant information.
Uses external customer newsletters, bill inserts, and other direct communication platforms to promote community awareness and work with Corporate Communications to maximize communication opportunities.
Maintains databases for tracking, documentation and evaluation of programs and resources provided to educators, employees, and outside agencies.
Organizes and attends outreach events in the community that increase Santee Cooper’s brand recognition.
Position Requirements *Will consider Community Relations Rep II or III.
This position may be eligible for hybrid (remote and in person arrangement).
Community Relations Rep II Bachelors degree + 2 years experience.
Would consider comparable work experience in lieu of 4 year degree.
Must have proficient computer skills with experience in advanced software applications.
Compensation Information: $54,300 - $67,870 (min.
- mid.
) Community Relations Rep III Bachelors degree + 5 years experience.
Would consider comparable work experience in lieu of 4 year degree.
Must have proficient computer skills with experience in advanced software applications.
Compensation Information: $67,800 - $84,740 (min.
- mid.
