Our company continues to grow so we’re looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering Team as a SolidWorks Designer Drafter at our Andrews, SC office.
This position is responsible for producing high quality models and drawings for access, loading, and fall protection products.
Works closely with engineers, engineering leadership, and production to drive innovation and solve customer problems.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities: Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce high quality models and drawings.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Manage design projects that may require cross-functional involvement to meet deadlines and company objectives.
Produce and manage bill of material in ERP system and ensures material availability and specification matches customer requirement.
Graphically depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
Create assembly drawings to illustrate how equipment interfaces with existing site conditions.
Coordinate with and consult team members to create, lay out, and draw components and systems to satisfy requirements or resolve design challenges.
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to continually improve performance.
Meet internal and external deadlines and project target dates.
Communicates variances to schedules.
Other responsibilities as determined by business needs.
Requirements AS degree in Engineering or related field preferred Experience in manufacturing design and drafting preferred.
2 years SolidWorks, AutoCAD experience preferred.
Certifications a plus.
Problem-solving aptitude and highly organized Analytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a Team setting.
Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8 hours per day Structural Designer, Structural Engineer, Boeing, Cad Designer, Drafter, Mechanical Engineer, s3d, cad SafeRack designs and manufactures advanced products that increase safety and boost productivity around the globe.
